The Stick

It seems like every day there’s a new warning about stretching and running. Personally I prefer the “if it works for you, don’t mess with it” method, but there’s new evidence that you can increase your flexibility without compromising on power.

A new study suggests that using The Stick or another similar massager can increase range of motion of muscles without the unwanted side effect of decreased power output.

This was only a small study and it doesn’t seem like they tested it functionally, but it certainly has interesting implications.
